Finca El Alto de Ugarteche, started Cigar Box in 2010 in the southern part of Luján de Cuyo, located at 1,050 meters (3,445 ft.) above sea level. Its soils range from sandy loam to clay loam, with variable stone content. It has a climate with warm days and cool nights. 

At Cigar Box, they have always managed their vineyards with sustainable agriculture practices. The grapes are harvested by hand from the vineyard's old vines.

WINEMAKING: Vinification and maceration of the skins in concrete vessels for 21 days. Aging in French oak barrels for 9 months, 20% of which are new and the rest for various uses.

TASTING NOTES: Deep violet-colored wine, with a complex nose dominated by red fruits such as plums and cherries, but also blackberries, with herbal notes of mint and spicy white pepper. Soft notes of coffee and tobacco. Fine-textured tannins and a long finish.
